What is a Botox® treatment like?
Botox® procedures are quick, simple, and minimally invasive, with
no anesthesia required. Tiny Injections are administered with an
ultra-fine needle directly into the area being treated. Discomfort
is minimal and brief, and once complete, there is usually no
discomfort. If you're like most patients, you'll return directly to
work or normal activity immediately.
What areas can be treated with Botox®
Botox® treatments can be performed in a number of locations,
including between your brows, eye area, and forehead. Effects of
Botox® appear within a few days and generally last up to 4 months.
Botox is so simple, it's very often injected at the same time as
wrinkle fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Radiesse and….in
fact using Botox along with your wrinkle fillers, they'll both last
longer.
What are frown lines?
Frown lines are the set lines between your brows that make you look tired, sad or
mad - and older. Botox is the only non-surgical solution to
smoothing your frown lines. A tiny Botox injection relaxes away
deep, persistent lines and wrinkles that develop as frown lines and
furrowed brows.
How does Botox® remove wrinkles?
Botox® utilize a natural, purified protein that is administered
at very low doses to reduce the contractions of winkle-causing
muscles. Most typically these are the muscles on your forehead and
between your eyebrows. These muscles get in the habit of staying
contracted and are the ones that can cause you to look perpetually
worried or angry.
While the results are dramatic, it will not radically change your
facial appearance. The muscles are simply relaxed, so you can still
frown, smile, or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases.

Will my facial expressions continue to look natural?

What are the side effects?
The most common side effect is temporary bruising at the injection
site. This generally goes away within a couple of days, and can be
covered up with makeup. In rare cases the BOTOX® Cosmetic can
travel, causing a droop in an eyelid. The effects are completely
temporary.
Is treatment with BOTOX® Cosmetic painful?
Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Most describe the injection
sensation as feeling like a bug bite. The treatment is performed
literally in a matter of minutes. No specific care is needed after
the treatment.
